About
Karen Tuttle, Violin & Viola
Karen comes from a family of musicians so it is only natural that she began playing violin at seven years of age. She performed as a violinist in the Florida All-State orchestra and as a violist with the Sarasota Orchestra, then the Florida West Coast Symphony, in the early 1980’s. She was a founding member of The Venice Symphony and their principal 2nd violinist for many years.
Karen currently serves as The Venice Symphony’s principal violist, teaches both violin and viola, and is an active chamber music performer.
Karen offers private violin and viola lessons at her studio in Nokomis and at The Music Stand in Port Charlotte. She's available for any occasion to perform Solo violin (or viola); Duet (with piano, violin, viola or cello); String Trio (2 violins or violin and viola, and cello); or String Quartet (2 violins, viola, and cello) at a very reasonable rate.
