The Palm Strings Quartet is comprised of four highly trained and dedicated professional musicians (two violinists, one violist, and one cellist) with expertise in performing all styles of music from Classical to Romantic, Broadway to Rock and Roll. Our past events include such locations as the Ringling Museum, The Ca Da’zan Mansion, and Spanish Point Historical site. The Quartet is based out of Venice, FL, but travels much of the Southwest Florida area for events.
The Venice Symphony provides cultural enrichment for South Sarasota County and enhances the area's cultural image for residents and visitors through performances of classical works and "pops" selections. It serves as a source of music appreciation education for the community and provides a stimulating musical experience for professional musicians, promising students, retirees with musical talents, and its audience. A free "Pops in the Park" outdoor concert is presented annually.
